As Facebook marketers, we often spend a lot of time split-testing and tweaking our ad campaigns to find the most effective ways of reaching our potential customers. Facebook Studio was created to help with marketing, and is an irreplaceable resource for Facebook Marketers.
Introducing Facebook Studio
Facebook Studio is a community of Facebook marketers that specialize in showcasing effective Facebook campaigns. This is a fantastic resource for Facebook marketers. If you need an idea for a new campaign, then this place is for you!
Here is how Facebook Studio describes itself:
We created Facebook Studio to celebrate the agencies and marketers that are showing what creativity can accomplish in a connected world. Facebook Studio is a resource where you can get recognized for your work, be inspired by great campaigns from around the world and learn how to strengthen your Facebook strategies. It’s one big community, so make yourself at home.
The Facebook Studio Directory
Imagine a resource full of inspirational Facebook marketers. Marketers that have shown success with Facebook campaigns before. Marketers that know how to get engagement from fans. Marketers that may be willing to divulge one of their little secrets. That is essentially what the Facebook Studio Directory is, and the best part is that it is completely free.
If you are a successful Facebook Marketer, you should be in this directory. The directory is fully integrated with your Facebook profile, so most of the important information pertaining to employment or other credentials is already known.
If you prefer to keep your personal profile separate from your Facebook marketing business, then that is your prerogative as well. Maybe now is a good time to get rid of that ridiculous profile photo, and start representing yourself as a knowledgable Facebook marketer.
Whether you choose to be included in this directory or not, you can still use it as a resource to connect to some inspirational marketers, and others who are succeeding at marketing on Facebook.
Facebook Studio Gallery
If you are looking for great examples of Facebook Ad Campaigns, then this is the best resource that I have found to date. It is literally full of Facebook campaigns from many different niches around the world. You are almost guaranteed to find a niche similar to your own!
While you are on the gallery page, you will see some Facebook campaigns that were created by Facebook advertising companies for their clients. To narrow in on campaigns that suit your Fan Page’s needs, there is a search bar on the right-hand side of the page.
You can sort through the submitted campaigns by recency, the number of likes, company name, use of apps, and many other criteria. Use this to find the exact type of campaign you would like to learn about.
Once you have narrowed in on your target campaign, you can click on each individual campaign to see the details. Let’s take a look at a campaign I found called One Copy Song.
The client, Adam Tensta, wanted to change the way people came across a song. The campaign centered around listeners getting in an “electronic line” to listen to a song one at a time. Thousands of people got in line, and it reached over 40 countries!
Further campaign details are shown in pictures, or sometimes a video is available that walks you through the entire campaign. Results are also typically shown, including how many people the campaign reached, increase of fans over the campaign period, and sales revenues. Talk about a jackpot!
Facebook Studio Awards
Campaigns that are exceedingly successful, clever, or unique are able to win awards from Facebook Studio. These awards are governed by a team of judges, including Facebook’s own Director of Global Creative Solutions, Mark D’Arcy.
The criteria the judges are looking for in Facebook campaigns are stated on the awards site:
- Is the campaign social? Are people and social interactions at the core of the idea? Does it motivate people to share?
- Does it make full use of Facebook marketing products? Does the campaign take advantage of Facebook’s full potential?
- Does it integrate with other media? Is the Facebook idea part of a larger multimedia campaign?
- Does it scale? Is it easy for people to interact with and share your content?
Once you have a grasp on Facebook campaigns, you have a fair chance at winning an award!
Submitting Your Campaign
If you feel that you have successfully created a Facebook campaign that is worthy of being displayed on the Facebook Studio site, then you will need to follow the appropriate procedures.
- Step 1 – Supply your company’s information. This will be on display if your campaign is approved for submission.
- Step 2 – Include the campaign information. Things like clients, goals, the targeting specifications, and so on.
- Step 3 – Submit the campaign’s assets. This includes any video, photos, or other media used in the campaign.
- Step 4 – List the people that worked on the campaign.
- Step 5 – Share the results of the campaign. Supplying specific data is suggested.
You can never win an award if you never apply for it! Also, Facebook Studio showcases non-award winning campaigns as well, so you can still be featured on the site without winning an award.
